Ford dealership in Catania since 1961. Managed enterprise infrastructure (200+ clients/servers across multiple sites), networking and firewalling (Fortigate), VMware virtualization, backup and DR with Veeam, database administration (SQL Server, Informix, MySQL), in-house software development (VB.NET, Python, PHP), ITSM governance, IT budget and digital transformation.

Alongside the main role, IT Manager for other automotive groups in the Catania area — Automax, CISAUTO, Dynamik, Golden Car, Gest Vir, Ponteggi Tubolari — multi-site networks, DMS (Drakkar, Infinity, Autoline), SQL Server/Sybase/MySQL databases, VB/C#/ASP/VBA development.
2005 — 2007
Alongside the main role, IT Manager for other automotive groups in the Catania area — Automax Spa, Cisauto Spa, Dynamik Spa, Golden Car Spa, Gest Vir Srl, Ponteggi Tubolari Srl — multi-site networks, DMS (Drakkar, Infinity, Autoline, Via Libera), SQL Server/Sybase/MySQL databases, VB/C#/ASP/VBA development.
2002 — 2004
Built an ASP + SQL Server 7.0 + VBA application for managing contracts and timesheets across 500+ branches in Italy: legacy system integration, statistical reporting, VBScript modules.
Fun fact: I've been a Microsoft beta tester since 1995 — Windows Vista, Longhorn Server, Visual Studio .NET, Windows Live and dozens of other products tested ahead of release. Over 30 years of technical curiosity that never stopped.
